This adapter is a low-profile 2" push-fit adapter, normally used on the CCD side of the Custom-Wheel, where it is required to connect a large-format CCD camera, using a using a special 2PFM-SCTM adapter. This configuration not only allows rotational adjustment, but a permanently mounted large 48mm filter (eg IR-Blocker) can be installed. A special long version SCTM-2PFF-L is available for use with 2" eyepieces and diagonals.
