The lens supplied with the Toucam Pro has an integral IR-Blocking filter,
as can be identified by the pink tint at the back of the lens. Such a filter
ensures sharper star images and also better colour
Side and front view of the new Universal M42 adapter. This adapter makes
the WebCam look like a flip-mirror unit or CCD camera with a female M42
thread on the front (eg like a True Tech flip-mirror finder/filter unit or
Starlight Xpress CCD camera, etc). Thus owners of such items can use their
EXISTING adapters in conjunction with the M42W to connect the Webcam
to their telescopes. The adapter is ultra low profile and is threaded internally
to take an IR-Blocking (or other) filter
