Where a JMI NGF-S electric focuser is used, install this after the Custom-Wheel to minimise stress and overall load on the electric focuser. As in Config4, the Custom-Wheel is attached to the SCT using a (A) SCT-LR locking ring, and to the NGF-S using a non-adjustable (B) SCTM-M adapter (adjustment is provided on the NGF-S). To connect a large format CCD camera, LISAA guider or focal reducer, use the (C) 2PFM-SCTM adapter. This has the advantage of allowing a permanently-mounted 48mm filter (eg IR-Blocker) to be screwed into the front of the adapter. In the above picture the output of the f/6.3 focal reducer is coupled to a (D) Low-profile SCT-T adapter to connect to a t-thread device.
