Image taken with above. * Despite the light polution (see how dark the trees are !!) the Milky Way through Cassiopeia and Cygnus region shows up amazingly well, including the dark regions around Deneb. The square of Pegasus is at the bottom, and M31, the Andromeda galaxy, can be clearly seen. Above the W of Cassiopeia is Polaris and to the left of this there is a short trail of a passing satellite.

D. This is a cropped image of the region around M31 using the 75mm lens. The satellite galaxies M32 and M110 show up well, and from a dark sky site the dust lanes of M31 would look phenomenal when replayed on a large monitor or TV screen.
