2. Flashing mode - one second ON, one second OFF, alternating for 20 seconds, after which the 20/10 goes to Standby mode. This enables faint objects to be seen directly through the finder when the dot is OFF.

3.  No switch OFF position. Simply switch the slide switch the other direction when you want to use it and the cycle will begin again

4.  Almost zero battery drain in standby - the large 3volt lithium battery (CR2032)will last for years !

The Takahashi FQR1 quick release system for  finders, is a major benefit. allowing the fimder to be totally removed from the main instrument for storage and transport.  The high quality dovetail plate is precision located so that no adjustment of  the finder is required upon replacing it on the instrument.  The centre image shows the 20/10 mounted on a FQR1 plate, and the two right-hand images above show a conventional Takahashi finder attached to a FQR1 plate.
